Terms of Service

By initialing and clicking the "submit" button below you are entering into a contract with Cold Craft Inc. to have service work performed at your home. Once this request is submitted, and after you have been called back and have agreed upon a time slot the service charge will be billed as a cancellation fee for cancelled or rescheduled calls. We will attempt to accommodate a reasonable change in schedule when possible as a courtesy but do not guarantee we will be able to immediately reschedule a cancelled call.

If our technician shows up at your home within an agreed upon time slot and if no one is home you will be charged the quoted service charge as a cancellation fee.

Because of legal and insurance liability our technicians cannot perform service unless there is an adult present. Leaving children or baby sitters under 21 to wait at your home for the service tech will be treated as a no show and result in a cancellation charge. We cannot perform service unless an adult family member is present to let us in your home, make decisions regarding proposed repairs and provide payment.

All special internet rates are based upon the customer providing sufficient data for us to schedule and run calls with reduced office support. Customers that call our offices to book service or maintenance over the phone will be charged a higher rate. If make, model and serial number cannot be provided when service requests are submitted, we may charge additional fees.

Cold Craft has a limited number of available time slots at our special internet rates. Scheduling is subject to availability and seasonal demands. We will do our best to accommodate customer scheduling preferences for emergency service calls. Please note that emergency service calls take priority over preventive maintenance calls. Preventive maintenance calls are scheduled during "open" time slots and are generally scheduled during non-peak service periods.

As a general rule, preventive maintenance is offered on below cost basis to keep our techs busy during seasonally slow times. Cold Craft makes available a limited number of preventive maintenance service slots. Availability is subject to installation scheduling, service demands and location. We generally do not book preventive maintenance for "same day" service.

Preventive maintenance does not include repairs. Our normal procedure when we encounter non-functional equipment is to charge a diagnostic fee and then quote a price to repair your equipment. Sorry, but we will not remove diagnostic charges or apply diagnostic charges towards repair costs. If your unit is not functioning we must charge a diagnostic fee. For warranty reasons we cannot rely on the diagnosis of other service companies or the homeowner.

If you equipment is not running we will charge a diagnostic fee and then quote repair pricing. We cannot perform preventive maintenance on non-functional equipment.

Until we call and mutually agree upon a time for service there is no obligation on your part. By initialing and clicking send you agree to Cold Craft terms of service.
